Britain's Longest Marriage

Britain loves Pantomimes and slapstick comedy and this weekend puppeteers gathered in the artistic Covent Garden, London, to celebrate the kids seaside town puppet show Punch and Judy for its 350 year old birthday. 

The show is violent and politically incorrect but one of those traditions that we clearly, just don't want to get rid of. It starts off with a happily married couple, (Punch and Judy) and then things quickly spiral downhill as they have a child and Punch becomes the worlds worst baby sitter. He accidentally feeds his baby into a sausage machine, fights with his wife and a list of other characters including a policeman and a ghost! 

Kids love this show because they can interact with the characters, shouting at them to do stuff like "its behind you!" Despite all the fighting and rude talk coming from Punch, the audience are laughing too much to notice how politically incorrect it is.
